Moving, Moved

Moving, Moved   Sitting in the doorway of my new home. Looking at my back green space. Feeling the breeze, hearing the birds chirping. Traffic droning in the distance. My lover playing rhythmic guitar, his voice singing out calmly. Serenating the atmosphere.   In moves a thought:   Prove it. Prove you can do it.   Calmly I respond, with love and curiosity: I want to prove I can do it. To myself mostly, I guess. Yes, to myself. Not to the world. Nor to him or her or even them. Just to myself. I can do it.   What is, IT , you ask?   Well, IT, today, is writing something compelling. From the heart. Devouring the space inside of my belly, these sentiments need flow out onto paper, through my fingertips. Typed up onto the word document I opened only moments ago.   What message do I have for me, for you, for us all? What observations have I made about me, you, us, that could enlighten, lighten, ease, illumina...

Cravings

Cravings   I crave you; I crave craving you. Between my legs Hot Warm It burns there … When I think of you.   I remember you; I crave remembering you. Bodies pressed Soft Strong Dancing while our hearts melted… I weep deep waves of pleasure in those memories.   I like to be controlled by you; I crave being told what to do. I want to follow your rules. Obedient Devotional Here, I wait patiently… I dive deep into the dark waters of your will. Surrender.

A Letter to a Lover

Dear Lover,  I want to cling to you. Wrap my legs around your waist and lock my ancles together. Wrap my arms around your neck and entwine my hands. Nuzzle my face into your neck. Bury it there, smelling your sweet scent and planting gentle kisses where your soft skin meets your collar bone.  I love you still, so much that my insides swirl and dance at the sound of your name. Memories of your fingertips on my spine ripple through my body.  I can still feel your lips on mine, pressing fully together. Fireworks, pleasure streaming out of every pore. My heart beat elevated. Our eyes met. Intimate and knowing gaze. I can see your soul in your eyes and you see mine.  I miss you.  I miss the sounds you make when i stroke your skin. I miss the silly faces and smiles and hello's. I miss holding your hand. I miss holding you. I am not accepting that we are but a memory. My heart has visions and plans for future union. For future memories with you.  For finding you a...

Being a Rebel

I was r eading the “what to bring” list for my daughters camp this summer. The Christian one. I did not sign her up for this. Her father did. My ex. The Christian. My daughter, the Christian, wanted to go. That’s the only one that was on offer. So I think my daughter, the my daughter... Just wanted to go to a camp. “No spaghetti straps, no bikini’s, no hoop earrings. No dresses or skirts above the knee. No shirts exposing the back. No pants that are formfitting. No leggings as standalone pants." no no no no for female clothing items only. But what message are they sending these girls that their bodies are to be ashamed of. To be hidden. Because what? When growing up in this environment myself, I felt small, sorry and annoyed that I secretly wanted to show my shoulders, my back, my stomach, my breasts…. My body. Without shame. And to take it further, to love it And to claim it as beautiful and sovereign. Not in competition with those of men. No. A standalone. It wasn...

Beauty is in the Eye of the beholder

Beauty is in the Eye of the Beholder   Elegant movement, flowing through the atmosphere like the wind gently glides through the trees Rustling the branches and kissing the pedal in the fields Swaying the grasses. Spirit moving. Can you feel her? Can you hear her? Listen! Watch! Feel.   Rushing, dripping. Water.   Burning, bright, hot. Fire.   Deep, buried. Earth.   As above so below. As within so without. My eye is drawn to beauty. My version?   Some things never cease to strike me. Moss covered walls, old stone staircases surrounded by ancient roots and vining branches, lush with fruits, pedals, buds, leaves. Small alley café’s overlooking a countryside. Nature rolling out it’s gorgeousness right in front of you.   Can you see her? Feel her? Open your eyes.   Beauty is all around you. Beckoning. Inviting. Urging. Go deeper!   Beauty is in the eye of the beholder. Become the beholder. She i...

Muchier, Muchness and Abundance

Muchness, Muchier, Abundance   Fitting that today is about muchness. I am taking Ruby’s call in the summer prompts for my cycle day 17 to step into my muchness. My outfit and make up reflect this today- I feel the slight waves of wanting to hide all of me a little. To shrink. To become less muchier in every moment. And I realize too this is maybe others energetic fields as well. People are not great at managing their energy. I am also only learning. I notice things differently sometimes. My senses are turned on. I am plugged in. Aware. Energies in this place are wild. I conjure a protective aura of white and purple light around me. Make me invisible. And protected. May I disappear into the atmosphere in plain sight. Here, but not. All other humans are also here. All trying a little more to disappear into the chair, or wall we are sitting in front of. Like a magician. Muggles mingling. Unaware of each other. Children see the magic. I am not here. Not visible. I must rea...

Circus

Circus:   I, like Robert Lax know the circus brings magic and wonder into the eye of the beholder. He traveled with family circuses around Canada and wrote of his experiences after in form of poetry. How romantical, as Ann-e would say. Circus for me has been my glue, my sanity, my process. It has provided a safe community that no one could take from me. It is just mine (and all the other circus freaks and beauties).  Circus has stretched me and challenged me. It has grown me, and softened me. At the same time it has made me so fucking strong. Circus I adore you and honor you. My journey with embodied movement, healing through the body’s wisdom has been a beautiful one. Starting as a child around nature, plants, and tumbling. In my free time, cartwheels, summersaults, back bends, climbing trees and dangling feet, hanging from knees and pullups to beat the boys at school in arm wrestling, which I did! 😊  That evolved into handstands against my door anytime I wa...
